Easter

Celebrating Easter reminds me of "Binks"... he was quite possibly the first thing you gave to me. From then on, you haven't stopped caring for me and I love you.

I'm glad we were able to celebrate the holiday with both our families. You're my best friend.

One year (and counting)..

One year ago today (4-11-10) I went on a walk with my best friend. I have to admit I was nervous for what followed...

Sitting side by side, we talked. Like friends do. We talked about our upcoming summers, our friends, our jobs. In my mind all I could think was, this girl is my best friend .... but i'd love her to be 'more than friends'.

The rest is history. I am dating my best friend. Every moment shared together over the past year has been memorable. Countless laughs, and even more memories. I look at her and I can't help but smile. Today is a day to celebrate! Today is our One year!

I love you Mars Orosz. I love you SO much.

The little moments

It's not all about going out, dressing up or pretending to be anything spectacular. It's the little moments that I love the most. When you and I just sing out-loud and turn to each other and smile. It's moments like those I absolutely cherish. There have been so many times where we just look at each other and can't contain our laughter, we try so hard not to smile, like it's a challenge, because it is a challenge. You make me smile no matter what is going on. You are my comfort, my heart.

Dear Mars,

What you are is unexpected. Never did I expect that someone so special could have been so close to me all along. Never did I expect that someone so beautiful and so kind would love me the way you do.

When I am with you, i feel comfort. With you in my arms, I know I have found my way home. I don't have to try to impress you (although sometimes I might). I don't feel the need to act a certain way around you, or to try and be anything but myself. You are truly my best friend. You are truly a dream that I thought couldn't possibly come true.

You are my world, and I never want to let you go!

From Day One..

From day one, that was something special. The countless laughter, the long internet chats and the support that never seemed to end...it was just the beginning.

One moment, I held in my hand a hot cup of coffee from Biggby, the next I sat next to you in the movie theater, craned my neck and noticed we were alone. Then we got together and watched "Step Brothers". All of the harmless fun that true friends do. Before I knew it, I realized that you were the one person who was always there for me, willing to help no matter what time, no matter what day.

The fear built up, the uncertainty filled my mind...and then the only logical thing left to do was ask that question...

"Would you ever consider being more than friends..?"

That phrase changed my life. You are not only my best friend, you are my world and I will always be the luckiest man alive.
